Day temperatures rises day by day; MeT office


Bhubaneswar, Mar 17: Shallow fog observed at isolated pocket of North Odisha. Weather has been dry over Odisha. Maximum temperatures observed no large change over Odisha. They were normal over South coastal and below normal over rest Odisha. Minimum temperatures observed no large change over Odisha. They were appreciably below normal over Interior Odisha and normal over Coastal Odisha.  

Having a clear sky with rains likley to occur. Odisha’s capital city is likely to experience in the next 24 hours a maximum and minimum temperature of 34 degree Celsius and 22 degree Celsius respectively on Saturday.

The relative humidity will be 95 percent at its maximum and 39 percent at its minimum, as said by the MeT. On Saturday, rains to occur in Interior Odisha with weather to be dry in Interior Odisha. On Sunday, rains along with thunder squall and hail storms to occur in Coastal Odisha and in the adjoining districts of Angul, Kepnjhar, Dhenkanal and Mayurbhanj with a wind speed likely to reach 50-60 Kmph and weather to be dry over rest of Odisha. On Monday and Tuesday, rains to occur in Coastal Odisha with a wind speed to reach 50-6- Kmph and at one or two places in Interior Odisha as well. As per the weather forecasters, there will be an increase in  day temperature.

For the farmers, rainfall to occur at one or two places of Interior Odisha and weather to dry over Coastal Odisha without any warnings.

The highest maximum temperature of 35.50C was recorded at Bolangir and the lowest minimum temperature of 13.50C was recorded at Phulbani in the plains of Odisha.
