Mumbai, Sept 01: Dillip Kumar’s wife Saira Banu, who has stayed with him for 54 years, till his death in July 2021, is now finding it difficult to maintain a healthy life. After Dillip Sahab (As her was frequently called in the Industry or Dillip uncle by the juniors), Saira’s health conditions seem to have been deteriorated. She currently is been admitted at the Hinduja hospital in Mumbai since past 3 days. According to recent reports, she has been admitted to the ICU.

Dillip Kumar passed away two months back on 7th of July, 2021. Since then Saira Banu, who has lived 54 years of his life with Dillip Sahab has yet not recovered from the grief of his death. Recently, she was noted complaining about breathlessness and was admitted to the Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. Earlier today, she was admitted to the ICU upon feeling severe breathlessness.
According to sources, earlier today, her health was stated to be stable, but her BP is not getting normal. Oxygen saturation’s are also fluctuating, which is the main reason of her trouble in breathing. She may have to spend some more days in the hospital for further observations, said sources.
Dilip Kumar’s death on July 7 two months ago left millions of his fans in grief, but for all those fans, Dilip Kumar was a star on screen. Which they can still see on the screen today.
But, for Saira Banu, Dilip Kumar was the whole life. For 54 years, he had busy himself in the care of Dilip Kumar. It is difficult for them to come out of this shock and live for themselves.
Saira, currently 76 years old, has never let her growing age dominate her, as she had to handle Dilip Kumar, 22 years older than her. Saira was 22 years old when she married Dilip Kumar. After this, the way she cared Dilip Kumar throughout his life, is an example in itself.
