Baleswar: An elderly woman was mauled to death in a dog-attack in Jaleswar town of Baleswar district this morning. The dog was then beaten to death by the villagers.
According to information, when the elderly woman was alone at home, a wild dog entered into her house and attacked her taking her life. As she growled in pain during the attack, the villagers assembled and tried to rescue her. However, she couldn’t survive as the dog’s bite had injured her critically.
In a fit of rage, the villagers beat the dog which then died. This unpleasant incident occurred in Odisha’s Balasore.
