Rourkela, Oct 5: On Monday night a woman was killed by her drunkard husband at Chakramal village in Sundargarh district. Like every day, accused husband Sandeep Nayak came in an inebriated condition in the fateful night and started fighting with wife Mamata. Later, in a fit of rage, Nayak took a double-barrelled shotgun and opened fire at Mamata. After getting information, the Sundargarh Sadar police arrived immediately at the spot and seized the dead body. Nayak was detained, Investigation is on into the matter.
