Durga Puja pandals in Sambalpur attract huge crowd:

Sambalpur geared up to celebrate ‘Durga Puja’. Almost 64 Puja Mandaps across the city have come up with new ideas to attract the people of the district. It is noticed, Puja Committees have hired artisans from different places of the state and outside to make it more attractive and ethnic. Artisans from Bargarh, Bolangir, Digha and other parts of the state have exhibited their vision of creativity through huge palace and temple like structures. Besides, the colourful lighting and other signages decorate the city to give the impression of a grand celebration. Since the day of Shasti itself, the panadal are seen crowded with visitors. Besides, pithas like Samaleswari and Pataneswari also attract the devotees during the Dussehra and people have been rushing to the temples to witness the rituals and puja.
