Keonjhar, July 20: On Tuesday at Champua area one person was killed and another succumbed to critical injuries on being attacked by an elephant.
The victim, Premananda Nayak is a resident of the Dolita village under Champua forest range. Sources reveal that the incident happened when Nayak and Benudhar Behera went to Rajja forest for collecting mushroom. Unfortunately the tusker attacked the two, thus killing Nayak on spot and attacking Behera who sustained to critical marks and so was immediately admitted to the Keonjhar hospital.
