Bhubaneswar, Jan 19: In a huge relief to striking Gana Sikhyaks, the government has decided to appoint them as the Zilla Parishad teachers in the fiscal 2016-17.
The School & Mass Education department has withdrawn the Resolution No. 27867/SME, dated 4.12.2013 and will draft a modified resolution for regularization of eligible Gana Sikhyaks as the Zilla Parishad Teachers, equivalent to level-v cadre in 2016-17, in the vacant posts.
