Mumbai: October 14: Former Indian captain and opener Sourav Ganguly is all set to be the President of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Ganguli emerged as consensus candidate to be BCCI’s new President after Brijesh Patel appeared to have grabbed the coveted post.

The former Indian skipper has been holding posts in Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) for the past five years where he currently serves as president.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s Son  Jay Shah will be the new Secretary while Arun Dhumal will be the new treasurer.

There will be no election this time since all candidates have emerged unopposed after weeks of lobbying and hectic parleys.
