Bhubaneswar, Aug 18: Rainfall has occurred at most places with heavy to very heavy rainfall at one or two places over North Odisha and at one or two places over South Odisha. Odisha’s capital city is likely to experience in the next 24 hours rainfall of 17.6 mm along with thundershowers thus having a maximum and minimum temperature of 31 degree Celsius and 25 degree Celsius respectively on Friday having a cloudy atmosphere all around.
The relative humidity will be 93 percent at its maximum and 82 percent at its minimum, as said by the MeT Sub-Division.
Extremely heavy showers and thunderstorms will be on, in few parts of Odisha by Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, North Odisha would experience heavy rainfall with a few pours of showers in South as well. On the basis of weather report submitted by the MeT officials, there will be no significant change in the climate as of now.
The highest maximum temperature of 31.6 degree C was recorded at Malkangiri and the lowest minimum temperature of 20 degree C was recorded at Sundergarh in the plains of Odisha.
