Bargarh, Sept 16: A debt-laden farmer identified as Suresh Bhue of Baghpatra village in Bargarh district allegedly committed suicide after consuming poison.

Reportedly, Bhue, who had cultivated crops in three acres land by taking loans from bank and individuals, lost his mental control as his crops failed due to scanty rainfall and pest attack, due to which he allegedly consumed poison and committed suicide.

As per his family member, Bhue was forced to take this extreme step as he was barely left with an option to repay the loan with failed crop.
