Bengaluru: April 19: A film on the life of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, founder of ‘The Art of Living’, will be screened at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival’s Marche Du Film.
The film ‘GURU, the movie’, is in production stage and 10-minutes work in progress of the film, will be screened at Doc Corner of MARCHE DU FILM, the Industry section of festival De Cannes. Argentinian film maker Paula Schargorodsky is making this film.
For the last five years’, Argentinian film maker Paula Schargorodsky, known for making films like ’35 and single’, traveled 80,000 miles across 63 cities filming Gurudev’s life as he meets heads of states, guerrilla leaders, industrialists and everyone in between, in trying to reveal the person behind the Guru.
The Logline of the Film says, ‘An Argentinian Film Maker manages to sort out the ultimate pop Guru of the century’s strict protocol to try and find out if enlightenment really exists’.
In this Film, the Film Maker is trying to reveal who is the man behind the GURU.
