Dhenkanal, Apr 20: Yesterday, at the late hours of the night, three separate fire incidents broke out in which one person died and nine others received burn injuries. Among the nine people, there was a three year old kid as well. After this incident, the injured were immediately taken to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for treatment. These three fire mishaps happened in Gengutia Mohanty Sahi under Sadar police limits in Dhenkanal district.
As per the sources it is said that the fire broke out in the middle of the night when everyone was sleeping. The fire took 12 houses in its flames. People were stuck inside their house and were unable to escape until the fire brigade came to their rescue.
