Four people died instantly and four more suffered serious injuries as a result of a powerful explosion in an illegal firecracker manufacturing facility in the Khordha district of Odisha. The place is near the village Bhusandapur in the Khordha district’s Tangi police jurisdiction.
According to the reports, the victims were preparing fireworks for Dola Utsav in the unit. However, the reason for the explosion is still unknown.
After receiving the call, firefighters and administration rushed to the scene and successfully rescued four people, taking them to the nearest hospital. It has been reported that the house where the victims were making the firecrackers was destroyed in the blast.
According to reports, the incident occurred around 10:45 a.m. Administration, Police, and Fire Brigade Services rush to the scene upon receiving information about the incident. They rescued four individuals, who were seriously injured and sent them to the District Headquarters Hospital.
