Bhubaneswar: April 07: Odisha has recorded its first Covid-19 death. A 72-year old male belonging to Jharpada had been admitted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar on 4th April’2020 and expired on 6th April. He had a history of chronic hypertension and had complaint of respiratory issue. He was tested positive for coronavirus.

Contact tracing and containment is ongoing.
In Odisha, 42 persons had already been tested positive.
Two patients have been cured and discharged.
