Sambalpur, Nov 6: In a tragic incident, due to a major fire break out at a shoe godown at around 3 am today, shoes worth lakhs of rupees got completely damaged and gutted in the fire.
As per sources, after noticing smoke coming out of the three-storeyed godown last night, the locals informed the fire brigade officials immediately.
On receiving the information, four fire tenders reached the spot and managed to control the flames. Fortunately, in the fire mishap, no casualty was reported.
As per a fire official, short circuit is suspected to be the reason behind the mishap. However, the exact reason behind the fire break out is yet to be ascertained.
