Mukesh Ambani becomes the richest man of the country for 12th consecutive year

Mumbai: October 11: Forbes has released the list of top 100 richest people of India. In this list, once again Mukesh Ambani, owner of Reliance Industries, is on top. This is the 12th consecutive year when Mukesh Ambani has topped the Forbes India’s richest Indian top 100 list. Mukesh Ambani stands at number one with total assets of about 3.64 lakh crore rupees (51.4 billion) with an increase of around 28.4 crores (US $ 4 million).

At the same time, Gautam Adani has made a big jump of 8 points and secured second place in this list. Apart from this, Uday Kotak has made the top 5 for the first time.
Lakshmi Mittal, the owner of steel maker Arcelor, has come down significantly on Forbes’ list. Lakshmi Mittal, who was at number three in this list last year, has slipped 6 places to number 9. According to Forbes India, this has happened due to steel demand and falling prices. With this, Azim Premji is not in the top 10 this time.

Mukesh Ambani: $ 5140 million (about Rs 3.64 lakh crore), Gautam Adani: $ 1570 million (about Rs 1.11 lakh crore), Hinduja Brothers: $ 1560 million (about Rs 1.10 lakh crore), P Mistry: $ 1500 million (about 1.06 lakh crores), Uday Kotak: $ 1480 crores (about 1.05 lakh crores), Shiv Nadar: $ 1440 crores (about 1.02 lakh crores), Radhakishan Damani: $ 1430 crores (about 1.01 lakh crores), Godrej Family: 1200 million dollars (about 85,200 crores Rs. 1), Lakshmi Mittal: $ 1050 million (about Rs. 74,550 crore), Kumar Mangalam Birla: $ 960 million (about Rs. 68,160 crore)
Six new industrialists have made it to this year’s list. Of this, the Singh family is at number 41, with assets of $ 3.18 billion. Biju Ravindran is at number 72 with $ 1.91 billion. Mahendra Prasad is followed by 81st with a net worth of $ 1.77 billion, while Manohar Lal and Madhusudan Agarwal of Haldiram Snacks are at 86th position with $ 1.7 billion. Rajesh Mehra and Sandeep Engineer are at number 95 and $ 98 with $ 1.45 billion respectively.
