Bhubaneswar, Dec 13: Hundreds of Gana Shikshaks staged Dharna in front of six Odisha minister’s residence today morning demanding for regularization of their jobs.
Protests were seen in front of residences of School and Mass Education Minister Debi Prasad Mishra Finance Minister Pradip Amat, Panchayati Raj Minister Arun Sahoo, Energy Minister Pranab Das, Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Minister Sanjay Das Burma and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Bikram Keshari Arukha.
The agitated teachers alleged that any necessary modalities for regularization of their jobs are not yet been published even after 5 months of publication of government’s notification in the regard.
Police have detained about 50 teachers who had staged a protest in front of Debi Mishra’s residence.
