Govt to form Inter-Ministerial Committee to expedite investments;

Bhubaneswar, Dec 19: Odisha government will form an inter-ministerial committee to expedite investments in the field of industrialization in the state, which will be headed by Industries’ Minister Debi Prasad Mishra. Ministers of Mines, MSME, Forest and Information Technology will be members of Committee.

Today, it has been decided at a high-level meeting held at state secretariat to review investment scenario for Industrialisation in the state. The meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Government will also form a taskforce comprising secretaries of 11 other departments and will be headed by the chief secretary. Chief Minister has set a target of three years for execution of different proposals and directed for ensuring a minimum investment of Rs.1.5 lakh crore within the period.
