Bhubaneswar, May 15: Rainfall has occurred at isolated places over South Odisha. Heat wave condition prevailed over some parts of Odisha. Chief amount of rainfall have been recorded in Mahendragarh (Gajapati). Maximum temperatures observed no large change over Odisha. They were appreciably above normal over North Coastal & South Interior Odisha and above normal over South Coastal & North Interior Odisha.
The highest maximum temperature of 45.20 C was recorded at Bolangir and the lowest minimum temperature of 22.00 C was recorded at Sundargarh in the plains of Odisha.
Having a partly cloudy sky, Odisha is likely to experience a maximum and minimum temperature of 42 and 27 degree Celsius respectively on Tuesday.
The maximum and minimum relative humidity is to be 92% and 54% respectively.
On Tuesday, rainfall is likely to occur one or two places over in Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Rayagarh, Nayagarh, Balasore, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal and Kalahandi but weather to be dry over the rest of Odisha. On Thursday, rains to occur in North Odisha and weather to be dry over rest of Odisha. Heat wave condition to occur in Bolangir, Boudh, Bargarh, Angul, Jharsuguda, Dhenkanal while thunder storms to occur in Coastal Odisha and Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal and Angul.
