Cuttack, May 8: The Hero Federation Cup football tournament inaugural match held at Barabati Stadium here yesterday ended in a 1-1 draw. The match was played between East Bengal and Churchill Brothers.
Odia footballer of Churchill Brothers, Pankaj Sona was one extra among the players. Upon entering into the field, Pankaj at 51 minutes of the match with his extraordinary performance chanced a goal but was unsuccessful.
The second match took place between Aizawl Football Club and Chennai City Football Club where the former defeated the latter with a 3-2 lead.
