Bhubaneswar: May 14: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh praised Odisha Police as seven Maoists were killed in two encounters with security personnel. Also, Home Minister assured to provide all sort of assistance to the state to eradicate the threat of Maoists.
Home Minister today spoke to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and congratulated Odisha police for their success in anti-Maoist operations.
It is to be noted that, five Maoists were killed during a combing operation at Sudukumpa forest in Kandhamal’s Golanki village and two were killed in Dudkamal village of Balangir district.
