Bengaluru: October 10: Income Tax Department raided premises of Ex-Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka G Parameswara and others, in a case involving a trust that was accused of amassing a large sum of black money for medical admissions.
The I-T department conducted raid in around 30 premises linked to former deputy chief minister of Karnataka G Parameshwara and others as part of its probe to check alleged irregularities in the conduct of NEET exams in two medical colleges run by a trust in Tumkur city.
Parameshwara is stated to be the chairman of the trust.
Parmeshwara was the deputy chief minister of Karnataka from May 2018 to July 2019.
