IAS Partha Sarathi on a 2-day remand

Cuttack, Feb 20: The Special vigilance court has today green signaled the Odisha vigilance for taking IAS Partha Sarathi Mishra on a 2 day remand from tomorrow.

After hearing the plea of the vigilance seeking a 5 day remand, the court stated and ruled a 2 day period.

Notably, partha Sarathi was arrested on Friday by the anti corruptipn wing of the vigilance following raids at his office and residence and later he was suspended from his duties by the CM itself. Mishra’s major property includes three buildings one each at Puri, Bhubaneswar and Cuttack whose value crosses over Rs 2.5 Cr each. In the preliminary investigation his total assets were counted for a minimum of Rs 5 cr.
