India beat Germany to win Bronze in Men's Hockey at Olympics
Olympics: India lose to Belgium 2-5 in men's hockey semis.

Tokyo: August 5: Indian Hockey Team defeated Germany with 5-4 goal difference to win Bronze. This is the first medal in Men’s Hockey Team at Olympics after a gap of 41 years.

Germany scored a goal within 2 minutes of Match. India responded immediately and made 1-1. Simranjeet Singh scored the first goal for India. Further, Germany scored two consecutive goals to make it 3-1.

India came back from 1-3 down to score an impressive 5-4 win.

Simranjeet Singh scored 2 goals (17th min  34th min) while Hardik Singh (27th min),Harmanpreet Singh (29th min) and Rupinderpal Singh (31st min) scored a goal each.

For Germany Timur Cruz (2nd min), Niklas Wellen (24th min), Benedict Furk (25th min) and Lukas Windfeder (48th min) scored one goal each.
