Bhubaneswar: June 27: India has registered 18,552 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours. This is the highest single day spike of cases in India. Total cases in the country has increased to 5,08,953.
2, 95,880 patients have already been cured and discharged from Hospitals. And, 1, 97,387 cases are under active medical supervision. With this encouraging status, the recovery rate is touching 58.13% amongst COVID-19 patients.
The death tally reached 15,685 in the Country.
As per the Health Ministry’s information, the difference between recoveries and active cases is fast nearing 1 lakh. The recovered cases have exceeded the active cases by 98,493 as of today.
Maharashtra has crossed 1.5 lakh mark and total confirmed COVID-19 cases in the State has increased to 1,52,765. Delhi has 77,240 cases so far, followed by Tamilnadu with 74,622 cases.
According to the ICMR, the total number of samples tested up to June 26 is 79,96,707 and the number of samples tested on June 26 is 2,20,479.
