Bhubaneswar: October 16: India registered 63,371 new COVID-19 Cases and 895 deaths in last 24 hours. India’s total tally increased to 73,70,468 cases so far and total death toll rose to 1,12,161.
In last 24 hours, 70,338 patients have recovered from the disease and total recovered cases in the Country now stand at 64,53,779.
The Active Cases are sliding continuously. Presently the active cases comprise merely 10.92% of the total positive cases of the country standing at 8,04,528. Higher number of recoveries has aided the national Recovery Rate to further improve to 87.56%.
