Bhubaneswar: September 10: India registered a record spike of 95,735 fresh Covid-19 cases, taking the total tally to 44,65,863, the Union Health Ministry data said. This is the highest single-day increase so far.
Also, 1,172 persons succumbed to the disease in last 24 hours. This is the highest fatality in a single-day so far.
Till date, 75,062 people have died in India due to the Pandemic.
According to the Health Ministry Data, 72,939 people have recovered from the disease in last 24 hours and total number of recovered cases in the Country reached 34,71,783. The recovery rate stands at 77.74 per cent.
At present, 9,19,018 cases are active, as per the information of Health Ministry.
As per ICMR data, India has conducted a record 11,29,756 tests in a single day on Wednesday, taking the total number of samples tested so far to 5,29,34,433.
