India registered 377 new cases of Omicron variant of Covid-19 in 24 hours. Yesterday, the total was 2630 and with 377 new cases, the total tally increased to 3007.

Of the total, 1,199 people have recovered from the new strain nationwide so far.

As per the health ministry, the Omicron infection has spread to 27 states and UTs. However, Maharashtra and Delhi continue to be the worst-hit states.

Maharashtra reported 79 new cases and it’s total rose to 876. As per health ministry data, 381 patients have been discharged from total.

Delhi reported 57 new cases and total reached 465. Karnataka registered 333 cases till date, followed by Rajasthan 291 cases, Kerala 284 cases, Gujarat 204 cases, Tamilnadu121 cases, Haryana 114 cases and Telangana 107 cases.
