India Reports 71,365 New Covid Cases And 1217 Deaths
India registered 71,365 fresh covid cases in last 24 hours, pushing India’s total to 4,24,10,976,
1,72,211 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours and the cumulative tally of recovered patients (since the beginning of the pandemic) is now at 4,10,12,869.
Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 96.70%.
India’s Active Caseload is presently at 8,92,828. Active cases constitute 2.11% of the country’s total Positive Cases, Health Ministry said.
As many as 1,217 deaths were reported in the country in the past 24 hours, increasing the total reported death count to 5,05,279.

The last 24 hours saw a total of 15,71,726 tests being conducted. India has so far conducted over 74.46 Cr (74,46,84,750) cumulative tests.
While testing capacity has been enhanced across the country, Weekly Positivity Rate in the country currently stands at 7.57% and the Daily Positivity rate is reported to be 4.54%.
Top five states which have registered maximum cases are Kerala with 29,471 cases, followed by Maharashtra with 6,107 cases, Tamil Nadu with 4,519 cases, Karnataka with 4,452 cases and Rajasthan with 3,411 cases.
