India VS England 3rd Test
Leeds, August 27: The Indian cricket team seems to be in a lot of trouble after their ultra poor performance in the first innings of the 3rd test match with England after getting knocked out for just 78 runs. The team looks terribly struggling to avoid a loss in the third Test at the Headingly Stadium in Leeds. England, who are 354 runs ahead of India after being bowled out for 432 today, have shown great signs of responsibility and are dominating the ego-driven team (especially the Team captain, Virat Kohli). Indian opener Rohit Sharma and Cheteswar Pujara, continue to bat after India loses its first wicket, KL Rahul to England’s Craig Overton, caught by Jonny Bairstow.
Notably India won the toss and elected to bat first. But the Indian team could not face the England bowlers and were all out for just 78 runs in their first innings. England who batted second, scored an outstanding 432 in their first innings. Joe Root scored 121 runs for the team. For India, Shami took four wickets, while Bumrah, Siraj and Jadeja took two wickets each.
With almost three more days to go before the end of the Test (including today), the Indian team will have to play their career best match to avoid defeat.
