Bhubaneswar: May 03: So far, a total of 10,632 people have been cured in India. In the last 24 hours, 682 patients were found cured. This takes our total recovery rate to 26.59%. The total number of confirmed cases is now 39,980. Since yesterday, an increase of 2644 has been noted in the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in India.
The death toll from the outbreak reached 1301.
As per the information, 28,046 active cases are there in the country.
Maharashtra continues to be worst affected state with 12,296 COVID-19 cases with death toll of 520 around.
Total number of confirmed cases in Gujarat stands at 5054, followed by Delhi with 4122 cases, Madhya Pradesh with 2846 cases, Rajasthan with 2770 cases, Uttar Pradesh with 2487 cases and Tamilnadu with 2757 cases.
