Bhubaneswar: April 30: Total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in India has gone up to 33,610 and the death toll from the outbreak jumped to 1075, informed Health Ministry.
8,372 patients have recovered till now. A total 630 patients have been recovered in last 24 hours.
24,162 active cases are there in the Country.
In last 24 hours, 1823 new coronavirus cases and 67 deaths have been reported in India.
Indian States hit with most cases are Maharashtra (9915), Gujarat (4082), Delhi (3439), Madhya Pradesh (2561), Rajasthan (2438), Tamilnadu (2162), UP (2134), Andhra Pradesh (1332) and Telengana (1012).
The current doubling rate of coronavirus stands at 11 days as against 3-4 days before lockdown.
Recovery rate has also improved from 13.06% days’ back, to more than 25% today.
Fatality rate is 3.2 percent.
