Srinagar : Indian army has foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Gurez sector in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, killing two militants.
Defence Spokesman Lt Col NN Joshi said that alert troops posted on guard duty along the LoC intercepted the militants while they were trying to sneak into the Valley from across the border.
In the encounter two terrorists were killed, he said.
Two AK-47 rifles have been recovered from the site of the encounter.
