With this win, PBKS remains at 12 points and No.5 in the point table.
Chennai Super Kings scored 134/6 in 20 overs. Faf du Plessis scored 55 off 76 balls. Punjab Kings bowler Arshdeep Singh (2/35) and Chris Jordan (2/20) bowled very well to take the main wickets.
Chasing 135 for the win, Punjab skipper KL Rahul remained unbeaten on 98 and single-handedly helped his side to cross 134 runs in the 13th over.
CSK lost the third match consecutively.
