Puri, May 16: Yesterday senior BJP leader Bijoy Mohapatra alleged that a hundred out of Rs 322 crore of the temple’s corpus fund has been misused and for this held the Puri temple and district administration responsible. He elaborated that the accountant general’s audit report reveals that there have been large-scale irregularities in the temple’s corpus fund and the audit regarding the temple management has not been conducted completely. The accountant general had given the audit report reg to the temple administration and law department of the state on Dec 21, 2015. Upon investigation of investment files and deposits of corpus fund file, it has been found out that injudicious investments of the corpus fund have been carried out leading to loss of crores of rupees. Out of Rs 322 crore of the corpus fund, nearly Rs 100 crore has been given out in corruptions. The audit report states that the Collector is getting paid huge amounts irregularly. Regarding land trading and construction of bus stops there are allegations against the Collector.
