Bhubaneswar, Sept 27: Demanding Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s statement over the Mahanadi issue, the Opposition created a ruckus in the House today due to which the Speaker of the Odisha Assembly Niranjan Pujari adjourned the House proceeding till 3 PM.
The Congress and BJP members rushed to the Well of the House as soon as the House assembled for the gathering today and created noise demanding Naveen Patnaik’s statement over the issue again.
The Chief Minister should make a clear statement in the House regarding the the State government’s future plan towards the Mahanadi issue, demanded the Congress Chief Whip Tara Prasad Bahinipati.
Unable to run the question hour, the Speaker of the House adjourned the Assembly till 3 PM today.
