Bhubaneswar: The Nuakhai Festival, organized by the Juhar Family, recently marked its Silver Jubilee in Delhi with a two-day celebration that drew an array of foreign guests. The event took place at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium auditorium, featuring a rich tapestry of cultural programs. Among the distinguished guests were Ukrainian Ambassador Oleksandr Polishchuk, and several other foreign dignitaries. Ranjan Pradhan, chairman of the Juhar Family, extended a warm welcome to all guests.
The event was also attended by notable figures such as Satya Narayan Sabat, Director of the Uttar Pradesh Crime Branch; Sanjeev Patjoshi- DG of Fire & Rescue Services; Dr. Bijay Kumar Mohanty- Director of the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA); and filmmaker Jitendra Mishra.
The celebration highlighted performances by acclaimed artists, including singer Aseema Panda, Sangeeta Rout, and Shashwat Tripathy, who enchanted the audience with their musical talents. Traditional dances from artists representing Sambalpur and Bhawanipatna further enriched the festive atmosphere. In addition to the cultural festivities, free health check-ups were also conducted promoting wellness among guests.
