Pune, Nov 15: Wife of noted cartoonist RK Laxman and well-known author Kamala Laxman passed away due to old age ailments here on Saturday.
She was 89.
Kamala’s demise came about ten months after Laxman who breathed his last in January this year.
Kamala inspired Laxman, seated in a wheelchair, to draw the ‘Common Man’ whenever his admirers called on him.
