Bhubaneswar: August 13: Covid Positive cases in Odisha have been growing since last 2/3 days. Today, it has reported 1193 new cases, which is higher to yesterday’s number i.e.1107.
Out of the cases recorded today, 695 people were in quarantine and rest 498 are local contact cases.
On the other side, 1177 patients have recovered from the disease in last 24 hours.
Odisha’s total tally since the beginning of pandemic rose to 9,92,375 and as reported, 9,74,756 patients have recovered from the disease so far.
On Thursday, active cases number was 10,853 and today it is 10,809.
In last 24 hours, 71,197 samples have been tested and out of that, 1193 came out as Positive.
Daily Positive Rate remains at 1.67 percent.
Khurda District continues to be the worst-affected district with 425 cases today. On Thursday, it was 397 cases.
Kalahandi & Sonepur do not have single case even. Rest 28 districts reported 1193 fresh cases.
