Odisha reported 559 new Covid +Ve cases during last 24 hours, pushing State’s total (since the beginning of the pandemic) to 10, 36,532.
Of today’s total, 71 cases are under 18 years’ of age. Also, as informed by I & PR Department, 321 people of 559 detected, were in quarantine and rest 238 cases are from local contacts.
During 24 hours, 618 cases recovered from the infection and with this, total recoveries reached 10,23,398.
Active caseload declines to 4785. Daily Positivity Rate stands at 0.79 percent.
70,586 tests have been done during last 24 hours.
But, Khurda District still continues to report nearly 300 cases. Today, it has reported 279 cases. 7 more districts also reported cases in double digits.
