Leopard sighted in Nuapada again: Tension grips locals

Nuapada, June 3: In a fraction of time, the situation at Haladi village in the district turned tensed after a leopard was spotted roaming near a temple early today.

After the May 26 attack of a leopard on a 4-year-old, who was dragged from his residence while he was asleep, the villagers in the area are keeping a strict watch on the wild movement in the village round the clock.

After being informed, the Khariar Road forest division officials reached the spot and monitoring the animal’s movement.
