Nayagarh, Apr 7: In a tragic incident, the dead body of a baby elephant was recovered yesterday, from the Chemedi forest under Odagaon forest division at Nayagarh.
As of a post mortem report, the death of the elephant is said to be because of diarrhoea and other health problems, said sources.
After the post mortem, the body of the little jumbo was buried in the forest itself.
