Kalahandi, Sept 12: Unidentified miscreants killed a woman named Gita Patra in broad daylight by slitting her throat at her house at Biswanathpur in Kalahandi district today.
As per reports, with an intention of loot, the miscreants entered the house. They attacked the woman with a sharp weapon and later killed her by slitting her throat and looted gold valuables and cash from the house. The miscreants fled from the spot after committing the crime.
After receiving the information, the Biswanathpur police rushed to the spot and initiated investigation into the matter.
