Kabul, 23 August: #BREAKING — A shootout that broke out at the International airport in Afghanistan’s Kabul between the US & German forces on one side and the Afghan Soldiers on the other, has led to the death of an Afghan soldier earlier today, outside the airport.

Earlier today, the German & the US forces, joined hands in a gun battle that broke out at the North gate of the Kabul airport, after Afghan forces and unknown assailants exchanged fire. The chaotic incident occurred while thousands of Afghan nationals were waiting at the international airport at Afghanistan’s Kabul, seeking to leave Afghanistan,

According to sources, one soldier, from the Afghan side, lost his life to the gun battle while 3 others were wounded to the gazing bullets. The wounded also includes soldiers from the US & the German sides. However, it is not yet confirmed that the soldier killed in the fight was an Afghan soldier or a Taliban fighter.

In the other hand, the self declared President of Afghanistan, Amrullah Saleh on his tweet early today has said, “Talibs have massed forces near the entrance of Panjshir a day after they got trapped in ambush zones of neighboring Andarab valley & hardly went out in one piece. Meanwhile Salang highway is closed by the forces of the Resistance. “There are terrains to be avoided”. See you.’

Notably, a resistance rising for sometime now among the people of Afghanistan is challenging Taliban, every now and then. Many women and men have come to the streets to fight against the Taliban, in many parts of the country. The protestors bearing the national flag of Afghanistan are continuously moving on the streets and urging the Talibans to not throw it away and accept it. The protestors moving on the streets were shouting, “Our flag our identity” in many parts of the country.

The major resistance effort against the Taliban that is mobilizing at a faster pace is from the Panjshir Valley, where peace is the key. The anti-Taliban forces are strengthening themselves. In the meanwhile, the Taliban forces have reached the Panjshir entrance.

In another development, 146 Indian nationals from were brought back to their country today in 4 flights from Qatar.

Three members of the Afghan sikh community were also rescued by the Indian forces, who were earlier seen holding the holy Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji (the holy book of Sikh community) on their head, from different Gurdwaras in Afghanistan at the Kabul airport today. India also rescued nearly 50 other Afghan Sikhs from Kabul.
