Man Logged In Pakistan Jail For 23 Years, Returns To India

Sagar, August 30: Prahlad missing since he was 33 years, has returned from Pakistan jail at the age of 56, cried when he saw his brother.

Prahlad Singh Rajput, now 56, went missing in 1998 from his home in Sagar in Madhya Pradesh. After 23 years, Prahlad has now returned home. Notably, Prahlad was logged in a Pakistan jail since 23 years.

Veer Singh, Prahlad’s younger brother seeing Prahlad at Amritsar couldn’t control his emotions and tears rolled down the cheeks of both the brothers.

Prahlad returns from Pakistan jail

On Monday morning, the Pakistani army handed over Prahlad to the Indian Army at Attari border in Amritsar, who then handed over Prahlad to the Sagar police and younger brother Veer. After the legal procedures at the border is over, Prahlad will be brought back to Sagar with his brother Veer, said sources.

Notably, Prahlad a resident a Ghoshi Patti village in the district went missing in 1998. After searching for weeks, his family lost hope of getting him. In 2014, after a police information, it was known that Prahlad was logged in a Pakistani jail. Till date, no one knows how he Pakistan.
