Malkangiri, Oct 1: On Thursday at MV-13 village in Malkangiri, a man named Manindra Beg aged 37 allegedly killed his wife named Jamuna aged 33 and set the body on fire as he doubted on her of having an extramarital affair. It’s stated that the couple had a quarrel over the suspected extra marital affair. Some villagers also tried to resolve the matter but were left in vain. On Thursday the tension became intense between the two following which outraged Manindra killed Jamuna and later poured kerosene over the body and set it on fire.
Yesterday the corpse was spotted by the villagers in the morning at the backyard of the house and later they nabbed Manindra and locked him inside a room. After getting information, police arrived at the spot and started investigation.
