Bhubaneswar: Manas Das, head of the Manabavad organization, has been arrested. Khordha police after a hint, picked up Manas from his residence in Bhubaneswar. Manas has been charged with felony criminal mischief and attempted murder. A special team from Khordha reportedly arrested Manas.
There have been calls for Manas Das to be arrested for several days. After Manas’s doings came into limelight, a team of Khurda police today had reached his house and arrested him.
The controversy erupted after a video of a father-son beating went viral. Notably, his organisation was charged with Murder related issues. Earlier today, another case has also been filed against Manas. Manas terrorised the Khordha Bogunia area. In the name of the organization, he oppressing innocent tribals.
