Malakangiri, Jan 17: CPI (Maoist) Malkangiri Divisional Committee has again threatened the tribal to refrain from the Panchayat polls.
Maoists have put up posters at various places warning the locals not to apply for the candidature and cast votes. Posters found in Chitrakonda area warns the locals to refrain from the upcoming polls in the district.
They have also warned that if any person is known to be casting votes will be punished largely and if anybody is contesting for Sarpanch, Panchayat Samiti member, Ward member or Zilla parishad member, they would be sentenced to death.
