Maulana Arrested Over Religion Conversion Case
In a fresh religion conversion case in Uttar Pradesh, ATS has arrested Maulana Kalim Siddiqui (64), a resident of Fulat of Muzaffarnagar. It has been alleged that the Maulana is converting other religion people to Islam and taking funding for it from abroad. Kalim is one of the Islamic scholars. He is also the director of Fulat’s Madrasa Jamia Imam Waliullah Islamia.
On the basis of credible inputs, UP ATS has arrested Maulana Kaleem Siddiqui on 21.9.21 from Meerut in connection with running India's largest religious conversion syndicate.

Maulana Kalim also participated in the ‘Nation First and Nation Paramount’ program led by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat in Mumbai on 7 September. Some time ago he was also in discussion for conducting actress Sana Khan Marriage.
ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar said that 11 people have been arrested so far in the religion conversion case. Six teams of ATS have been deployed to collect evidence. Maulana Kalim has set up a trust. Under the guise of trust, he was converting people to Islam. Funding for the trust is recieved from abroad. Maulana has been converting religion for 15 years. 1.5 crore rupees have come from Bahrain in his trust. Evidence of 3 crore total funding has been received so far.
According to the information, Maulana Kalim Siddiqui, a resident of Muzaffarnagar in UP, had come to Lisadigate in Meerut on Tuesday evening along with three other Maulanas. where he attended an event. He left for Muzaffarnagar with other clerics after the prayers at around 9.30 pm on Tuesday night, but he did not reach his home in Muzaffarnagar in the night.
When the family called, the mobile was switched off. Then came the talk of his arrest on Wednesday morning. Due to suspicious activities, Kaleem Siddiqui was under the watch of security agencies. The ATS was already aware of Maulana’s arrival in Meerut. This is the reason why he was caught on his return.
On the other hand, AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan has opposed the arrest of Maulana. He wrote on social media – Atrocities on Muslims are increasing. The silence of secular parties on these issues is giving more strength to the BJP. How much more will BJP fall to win the UP elections?
