Bhubaneswar: September 28: On Wednesday, five armed miscreants allegedly looted over Rs 13 lakh and 1 kg gold ornaments from UCO bank branch at Bapuji Nagar of Bhubaneswar.
Police and scientific team have reached the spot and started investigation. Police Commissioner YB Khurania said, ‘Five miscreants had entered the Bank posing themselves as customers and terrorised the customers and employees with revolver. They looted money from the locker as well as gold ornaments.’ According to the Bank Manager, Looteras were speaking in Odiya and Hindi.
As per the preliminary investigation, the bank has neither any security arrangement nor alarm system. Police has formed a special team to nab the miscreants.
